Экологическая сказка: «The little guardians of the forest» («Маленькие стражники леса») для 5 класса с заданиями
Эта сказка — не просто развлекательное чтение. Это интегрированный учебный элемент, который одновременно работает на освоение языка, знакомство с основами экологии и формирование ценностных ориентиров у учеников. Все задачи тесно переплетены и подчинены главной цели: научить детей видеть сложность и красоту мира на английском языке.
Цель:
Сформировать у учащихся понимание важности каждого живого существа в экосистеме, развивая речевые навыки и экологическое сознание.
Задачи:
— Повышать мотивацию к изучению языка через интересную, близкую к миру детей тему и формат сказки.
— Сформировать представление о взаимосвязях в природе на примере простой лесной экосистемы.
— Объяснить экологические функции насекомых: опыление, борьба с вредителями, санитары леса, участие в пищевой цепи.
— Воспитывать бережное и уважительное отношение ко всем формам жизни, независимо от их размера и внешнего вида.
— Активизировать и закрепить лексику по теме насекомые: ladybug, bee, ant, spider, caterpillar.
— Развивать навыки чтения и аудирования: понимать основное содержание адаптированного художественного текста на слух и при чтении.
— Развивать навык говорения: кратко пересказывать роль своего персонажа, отвечать на вопросы по тексту.

Narrator: In the heart of a big, green forest, there lived an Old Oak. He was very wise and very sad.
Old Oak: Sighs Oh, I am so sick and tired. My leaves are weak. Strange, harmful bugs are eating them. My roots hurt. The forest is in danger!
Narrator: The news travelled fast. The little insects of the forest heard the Old Oak and decided to have a meeting.
Ladybug Lucy: I am Ladybug Lucy! I am small, but I am brave. I eat aphids! Aphids are very bad tiny bugs for trees and flowers. I can protect the leaves!
Buzz the Bee: I am Buzz! I work all day. I pollinate the flowers. Without me, there will be no new plants, no berries, no fruits for everyone!
Andy the Ant: We are ants! We are a big family. We work together. We clean the forest floor. We take away old leaves and dead insects. We make the soil good for trees. Grumpy Spider: I am a spider. I make my web. I catch flies and mosquitoes. Many of them are not good for the forest. My web is my net. I am a hunter!
Green Caterpillar: Shyly And I… I am just a caterpillar. Everyone thinks I eat leaves. But I only eat a little… and one day, I will become a butterfly and pollinate flowers too! Narrator: The Old Oak listened to his little friends. He understood that every insect, even the smallest, has a very important job.
Old Oak: My dear friends! You are not just insects. You are the real guardians of the forest! You are a great team!
Narrator: And so, the Great Operation «Save the Forest» began!
Lucy the Ladybug flew from leaf to leaf and ate all the harmful aphids. Buzz the Bee flew from flower to flower and pollinated them. Soon, the forest was full of bright colours.
Andy the Ant and his family worked day and night. They cleaned the ground near the Old Oak’s roots. The soil became healthy again.
Grumpy Spider caught many harmful flying insects in his strong web. Even the Green Caterpillar tried to eat only a few old leaves, not the young ones.
Narrator: Days passed. The Old Oak started to feel better. His leaves became green and strong again. New flowers and mushrooms appeared. The forest was healthy and happy! Old Oak: Thank you, my little guardians! You taught everyone a lesson: In nature, there are no «unnecessary» creatures. Everyone is part of one big family. Everyone has a role. We must protect all living things – big and small!
All Insects together: Hurray! We protect our forest! We are small, but we are mighty! The End.
