«The court is coming»
Методическая разработка сценария внеклассного мероприятия
На тему: ” Суд идет”.
Основная цель: cтуденты должны продемонстрировать знания, умения и навыки разных видов речевой деятельности, а также усвоить определённые гражданско-правовые нормы.
Задачи урока:
- Лингвистические:развитие и контроль речевого умения.
- Когнитивные:развитие способностей к осуществлению продуктивных речевых действий, к логическому изложению; развитие умения определять и формулировать собственные пути; решения проблемы; развитие умения выражать свою точку зрения, личное отношение к проблеме, аргументировать свое высказывание; развитие способностей к подбору выражений, адекватных ситуации; развитие творческих способностей студентов.
- Социальные: формирование гражданской и социально-правовой активности через интерактивное общение; формирование дисциплинированности как формы проявления на практике усвоенных правовых норм; умения анализировать и давать оценку поступкам, коллективно находить пути решения проблемы.
Заседание суда
- Alex: Quietness! The court is coming! All rise! Court is in session! Today a civil case is being considered on the claim of the bus conductor against the ticket inspector and the related scandal in the bus. First we will listen to the plaintiff. Then the word will be given to the ticket inspector. Both of them will be asked questions. Let’s start with the plaintiff. Introduce yourself.
- Seva: Your honour! My full name is John William Blake.
- Alex: Your age?
- Seva:28
- Alex: Your place of work?
- I work as a conductor for a big bus Company.
- Alex: Mr.Blake! The court warns you that you must tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Do you swear to speak only truth and nothing except truth?
- Seva: Sure respected court!
- Alex: You have filed a complaint against the ticket inspector. Do you confess it?
- Seva: Yes- your Honour! That’s right!
- Alex: And now tell everything related to the case.
- Seva: With pleasure! I have been working as a conductor for 7 years and I consider myself to be a real professional in this field. I am always polite to my passengers. I give them a warm welcome at every stop. I am pleased to meet my passengers and they pay me back. Many of them have become as relatives to me –they even know the stock number 555 written on my bus I cover daily and they try to get on my bus and sometimes they miss on purpose the other bus of this route just to come with me.
- Alex:It sounds good.
- Seva: Moreover-From early morning I lift their mood with a kind word- I wish them a good working day and they are happy to return home trying to use my bus. We have developed good relations over the years and I value every passenger. Last year I was named the best conductor in the city and received an award form the mayor.
- Alex: Well-done mr. Blake! My congratulations!!
But what happened that day? Do you know the suspect?
- Seva: Unfortunately I do. But it would be better I had never known him- because he deserves a severe punishment.
- Alex: Allow the court to make decisions mr Blake.
- Sorry. Your honour.
- Alex: Can you speak to the point and not deviate from the subject?
- Seva: Sure .Your honour. It was my birthday that day and my wife and my brother decided to make an unexpected surprise for me. I foresaw your question!!! We can show you how it happened if you do not mind.
(входят и поют)
- Vlad: Your honor! May I say a word? I am a material witness!! I was appalled by the behavior of this ticket-inspector! When he got on the bus-he began to cry at us as if we were criminals.
- Masha: Your honor! I confirm it. More than that he tried to snatch my Stradivari violin and he insulted me by saying that I am a talentless musician.
- Alex: I see! Defendant! Do you recognize this man?
- Danil: This one? Certainly I remember him clearly well. When I got on the bus to check the tickets I saw a concert hall instead of the bus and there were a lot of fare dodgers. I mean a lot of passengers did not buy tickets-they were having fun and the Company was incurring losses. And when I appalled they chucked me out by the collar of the bus. I fell down and hurt my leg. Moreover the bus driver stopped the bus far from the bus stop.They are all here for one thing! They are in the cahoots!
- Alex: Plaintiff! Can you refute it? Do you confess your guilt?
- Seva: I plead guilty but he forced me to do that! I became the victim of the circumstances.
- Danil: Objections!!!!
It is me who became the victim!!! I have got some photos from the video cameras. I suppose they are quite strong evidences.(показывает телефон)
- Seva: You see- he is giving false testimony here. He has forgotten that he insulted me /the driver/ the passengers/ my wife and my brother.
- Danil: It’s a lie! I behaved myself properly fulfilling my duties! Such people like he are a menace to the society.I strictly followed my job instructions but they were breaking laws. I am lame so far and I spent three weeks at the hospital.
Выскакивают все и начинают кричать одновременно
- Potapov: Do not believe him! He is lying! Did you see the doctor’s note? He pretends to be lame!!!
- Masha: He threatened to report about my improper behavior in public transport at my place of studying.-It would be better if he looked at himself!
- Seva: I had been dismissed from my work. Hard times came to my family-I am unemployed now because of him.
- Danil: Do you know that I am suffering a psychological trauma? My life is in your will.
- Alex: Order! Order! Stop it! Behave yourselves! What a nightmare you made here! Did you happen to forget that you are in the court-room? Be quiet or do you want to be expelled from here? Everybody be silent when you are not asked! Defendant! Plaintiff! You both deserve a fine of 1000 rubles for your improper behavior in the court . If you do not understand what you are told-blame yourself! If once more I hear something like that –I will fine you again.Understand?
- Seva: Sorry your honor! Sorry. But my family is below the poverty line now. My wife is in her mother rest since July. Look at it with sympathy and you will agree that I am innocent like a baby. Respected court! I ask you to put yourselves on my place for a moment. I have no job- no money to provide my family (выворачивает карманы) a terrific picture!. Is not it? Listen to my hungry kids and your heart will beat. My superiors dismissed me from my job for the duration of the case in the court because of this scoundrel! Russian people have a good word and they call such people “Чмо”.
- Alex: What! Again! I call on both sides of the case to be polite!
33.Seva: Sorry your honor! Sorry!
I am ashamed of my behavior but is not in my principles! I recognized my fault completely. I am totally desperate! I agree that it is impossible behavior!! I swear it will not happen again..
34Danil: Дразнится) I recognized my fault completely. Do you know that I am suffering a psychological trauma!!! My life is in your will!!! I claim I am innocent. I swear it will not happen again.
35.Seva: And do you know that I am suffering financial problems. It is more important for my family at the moment I think.
36.Alex: Order!!! Order!!! Defendant! Plaintiff!! I will expel you from the courtroom if you do not keep silence!!! So- my suggestion- Having heard both sides I advise plaintiff to reconcile with ticket inspector-shortly speaking to put an end to the quarrel and if you are ready to do that I consider it to be a good chance for both to reconcile and not to inflame passions. Maybe you would better make up now?Plaintiff! Ready? Defendant! Are you ready?
- Seva: Who? Me? Never! I would rather be punished but I won’t make up with him-that jerk! Never! Do you hear me your honor? He ruined my birthday-he ruined my whole life! What am I supposed to do now?
- Danil: As for me –I do not want any reconciliation with him either-it is out of the question.
- Alex. Well- I have no more questions.

- Alex.What would I like to say at the end? What do you think: Plaintiff! Defendant! A huge number of people take public transport every day and they all want to get to work and home safe-I mean without any adventures. Agree?
And now the court is ready to pass its sentence.In view of the fact that reconciliation did not work and taking into consideration all the circumstances the court sentenced both of you to a month of correctional social work. Clear?We create confession in the city transport ourselves and we should be attentive to each other. The sentence is final and carries no right to appeal,
