Musical Marathon
Hello everybody! I’m really glad to see you at our musical marathon. Music is not only a combination of pleasant sounds. Music is an art, which reflects life, people’s ideas and emotions. Music is the universal language of the world for the majority of people. Today we will talk about famous British and American performers of the twentieth and twenty-first century.
- I would like to start with one of the most influential and successful British bands in rock history – The Rolling Stones. Mudrov K., Nazarov K. and Protskey A. are ready to make a report about The Rolling Stones.
- I would like to mention about another famous British band of the twentieth century, which has broken many music awards. The song «Bohemian Rhapsody» was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the best British single of all time in 2002. What band is it?
Karyhyn I. and Blagaya J. are invited with the report about Queen.
- Next speakers will tell us about American band Nirvana which is known not only for its music, but also for the tragic events in the life of the performers. Let me introduce Philipenkov I. and Sokolov S.

- As a result of changing times new musical styles have appeared. Shirokova P. and Rudakova A. will introduce a modern American band, which is called Imagine Dragons. This group is becoming more and more popular nowadays.
- The last report for today is about a modern singer and Youtube star Jonathan Young. Bulishkina I. and Malisheva T. are ready to tell us about him and to perform a song.
