Аннотация
В настоящее время актуальность проведения уроков внеурочной деятельности неоспорима. Она позволяет развивать те навыки учеников, которым уделяется меньшее время в течение урочной деятельности, а так же закреплять полученные ранее знания и умения.
В данной работе представлен план – конспект внеурочного занятия, посвященного выбору президента в восьмом классе на английском языке (Class president election), где за основу я взял технологию «дебаты». Согласно ФГОС ученик должен уметь вести беседу, уметь корректно задавать и отвечать на вопросы.
Целью занятия является:
— развитие и совершенствование навыков говорения;
— выборы президента класса.
Задачи мероприятия:
— научиться аргументировать свою точку зрения;
— совершенствовать монологические навыки;
— совершенствовать навыки диалога;
— совершенствовать грамматические конструкции;
— актуализировать лексику.
Ход занятия
1.Organizational moment
Teacher: Good morning, children. Nice to see you again!
Children: Good morning, teacher. Nice to see you too!
Teacher: What day is it today?
Children: Today is Monday, the ninth of November.
Teacher: That’s right. It means that today we will choose our class president!
- Actualization
Teacher: You can see on the blackboard the words. Tell me what our president should be or not.
Hard-working Lazy
Brave Shy
Responsible Irresponsible
Generous Selfish
Talkative Silent
Friendly Unfriendly
Honest Dishonest
Polite Impolite
Children answer using the model:
-He should be …
-He shouldn’t be …
- Debates
Teacher: Ok, we chose his qualities. Now we give our candidates the floor.
Both candidates deliver their election speeches using the phrases:
-I promise
-I will do…
-I promise …
-I will be …
-I will change …
-I will never …
— I will take care of …
Teacher: thank you and now ask your opponent some questions about school subjects, school nutrition, duties.
The candidates ask and answer their questions using:
-I think that
-I suppose
-In my opinion
-In my point of view
Then teacher distribute question cards to pupils.
— What will you do if you become a president?
— What qualities should the president have?
— Should the president protect class interests and how?
— Should the president be talkative and why?
— Should be the president be friendly and why?
— Should the president help his classmates?
The candidates answer these questions.
4.Voting
Every pupil votes giving his/her reasons, explaining his/her choice.

-because I believe that …
-because he/she will be able to …
Teacher: the voting is over; let’s start counting your votes.
Now we have a winner, and it is …!!! Our congratulations!
Could you give us your president speech?
The new class president gives his promises to pupils.
Teacher: This is the end of our election. Today we have a new class president, and we should say to him/her «good luck». Thank you for your work and goodbye.
